WELCOME MESSAGE FROM THE PTSA BOARD
Dear Beach High Family,
On behalf of our PTSA Board, a big “Hi-Tide” welcome to our new and returning students, parents, and staff! We look forward to a productive 2009/2010 school year as Beach High moves into its renaissance with a nearly completed world-class campus and its recent selection as one of six schools in M-DCPS to be included in the Magnet School Federal Grant Application. Join us in making a difference in the lives of our students. The PTA's vision of “making every child’s potential a reality” is best accomplished when we work together as a team. The more voices, the louder the chorus!
The best way to do this is to become a member of our PTSA by downloading our membership application from this site and sending in the completed form. By joining our organization you are assured of receiving the many PTSA E-Newsletters, packed with vital information. In addition, here is a sampling of some options available for assisting our organization. - Join a PTSA Committee (see Officer listing) - Become a PTSA Volunteer in the areas of Reading, Math, or in the Media Center - Sign-up as a Boat Show Parking Volunteer in February (our only fundraiser) - Assist with language translation services to ensure our publications are accessible to all members. In these trying economic times, our schools need your assistance and advocacy more than ever. Please consider giving some of your valuable talent and time to one of these meaningful endeavors. Let’s catch the Hi-Tide wave together!
